For my senior project, I’m compiling an album of original ambient pieces, both inspired by traditional ambient artists such as Erik Satie and Brian Eno as well as contemporary artists who incorporate more rhythm into ambient music. So far, this is one of my favorite tracks I’ve produced, which was inspired by some of the dark weather we’ve been having. Thunder has always seemed interesting to me, and I found some samples of thunder to base the track on. I wanted to capture the tranquility that often comes along with looking out a window into rainy and dark weather.
