Sebastian, Felix and I created this music video in response to the title track of the album Rain Dogs by Tom Waits, which was assigned for music history class. We tried as best we could to capture the gritty and sleazy feel of the track as well as its absurd lyrics.
What a great job done on this project! I’ve always loved Tom Wait’s “Martha” – both the lyrics and his voice singing it, but agreed that most of his lyrics and the gritty voice don’t appeal. Your rendition and video brought a smile though!
Very effective use of my cobwebby, dirty staircase and creepy basement! But my favorite part was the two silhouettes dancing on a darkened street.
