Alright: An EP

I recorded these songs with my uncle in his recording studio. It was just me and the guitar with no other tracks. We added some effects in post but it’s mostly just raw. I usually start with some vague idea for a song then flesh it out as I write it and work on it. I try not to make my lyrics that abstract but I also like to leave some room for interpretation. The main theme of this EP was the idea that life isn’t really a straightforward thing, but I’m okay with that. I took a lot of inspiration from Elliott Smith’s guitar playing style and his songwriting.
