Commentary: Four-Day Schedules Cause Confusion and Inconsistency

Dadvertisements

For an end of semester artistic response, the senior class was assigned to create a project that explored the themes that connected the texts we had read thus far, such as home, family and patriarchs/matriarchs. Our group decided to create advertisements, or “Dadvertisements” if you will, for four different patriarchs from four different texts. We chose Shota Sr. from Shoplifters, Big Angel from The House of Broken Angels, Jacob Yi from Minari and Mr. Rao from Latitude. The Dadvertisements feature portraits, basic information about the characters, quotes and special objects that represent the characters.
